An actual, serious response to Starblade. No humor, irony or abuse within. Mobile Suit Goddamn 11/09/03, 16:08 | 0 | Think maybe I should just give up?
I think you should:
1) Stop thinking and saying you're a dragon. Because you aren't, and believing so will only impede your personal and social development.
2) Enroll in college, full-time, preferably in a useful, math-oriented major (Physics, Engineering, Accounting, etc.) Because you evidently have a fair amount of intelligence of some sort, and it shouldn't be wasted by your sitting around all day making up ridiculous fairy-stories about yourself and your online "friends"
3) Make your peace with your parents, and move back in. Because there's no shame in living with your folks when you're nineteen and going to school full-time (see above). Also, the last thing you need is to get into a live-in situation with "friends" who will only encourage your current delusions and slothfulness.
4) Give up looking for a job, for now. You won't need one if you're living at home, it'll distract you from your studies, and most importanly, you don't have the emotional maturity or social skills necessary to handle a job right now.
5) Use your full-time college enrollment to start seeing a campus counsellor regularly. It'll be free, and it may help you get your delusions under control. I'm no shrink, but I suspect that your dragon-fantasies are rooted in your lack of emotionl maturity and lack of social skills, instead of in some actual psychosis. Campus counsellors specialize in teaching basic emotional hygeine and social skills to adolescents like yourself, and once you learn these thngs you may no longer need to imagine yourself a dragon in order to feel good about yourelf.
